Paris trip was excellent. Spending 5 days in the busy city is more than enought. Perhaps, next time if going back there again, we will go to vessaile. Paris Disneyland was worthwhile to visit also. Full of excitements.

On the other hands, Ireland trip was a different new experience. Breathtaking and superb scenery views in northern Ireland. Must go there!!!! :)

Off to edinburgh

A month ago, hon fai, yi hui, hui yin and i visited edinburgh for a day trip. Edinburgh is such a beautiful city as compared to glasgow. It is so lively!!! All the buildings at the city centre cheer me up! The Royal Mile street is such a happening street, with many major attractions such as edinburgh castle, people's story musuem, children's musuem, national musuem, arthur's seat as well as cafe, bar and pubs.

Edinburgh festivals started 2 weeks ago! I will definitely pay it a visit in the coming weekend. Lets go edinburgh, anyone?

Wowww.. it was such a close match between Turkey and Germany in Euro 2008 first semi final. Turkey lead by 1-0, then it was 1-1 before half time. Then Germany lead by 2-1at 68th minutes and Turkey made a come back 84 minutes. So it was 2-2 then. In the end, Germany won by 3-2 by scoring another goal at the 92 minutes.

Congratulations to Germany! Huuuray! :)

I have not been update my blog alot these days as i was busy with my euro trips after the final degree exams. Now, finally they are over!! I have been travelling in spain + portugal for the past 8 days. I like portugal more than spain. Mainly because we get to eat bigger portion of food with cheaper prices. Another thing i like about portugal is about the security. At least, i feel more safe to travel in portugal at night as compared to spain (madrid/barcerona).

I watched Champions League Final 2008 with a couple of friends together 2 days ago. It was definitely an exciting match!!!!! Glory glory Man United!!!!

They are called the KING OF EUROPEANS after last night.

MAN UNITED defeated CHELSEA in Champions League 2008 in moscow last night. Sir Alex Ferguson toasts second Champs League title after Man U succesfully beat Chealsea in a real tight penalty shootout last night.

It was a really close match between the two teams. Damn gan jiong lorh.

"Cristiano Ronaldo gave United the lead with a first-half header before Frank Lampard equalised just before half-time.

Didier Drogba was sent off in the second period of extra-time for slapping Nemanja Vidic in the face after a meaningless spat.

Ronaldo was very upset when his penalty was saved by czeth. John terry was even more upset when he missed his. For John terry's case, he blamed himself for the one mistake to have caused Chelsea to lose the Champions League title, he just cant take it. I feel that we cant just put the blame on the one missed.

The one who has the most potential was voted out the earliest. And when you hate someone so much, yet she managed to get herself a place in the top 3. As a result, alot of us out there are disappointed with the results though.

He said that even though Barisan did not obtain a two-thirds parliamentary majority, the coalition did not lose and as its head. He will continue to serve the government with his full rights.

In addition, Abdullah dismissed rumours that he is stepping down. He hopes that his supporters will support him throughout this hard time. In fact, several UMNO members actually pay a visit to Abdullah to show their supports towards him.

JBC broke in for the first time!

It was supposed to be a very good day today, until j2 was broke in by thieves. We reserved today - FRIDAY, to celebrate the ex-zhap goh mei. Everybody was in a good mood today because almost everyone handed in their results part for research project.

okay, back to the topic.

It was at 6.30pm, Ed first realised that his laptop cover was closed down when he returned to his room after he came out to play cards in the living room for about 10mins. Everyone was alerted and went back to check their room respectively. And the bad news was pj's laptop was gg-ied (GONE) and his windows was widely opened.

When sm n pj looked out from the windows, they saw the fallen thief and the laptop was lying beside him. The bastar*d fainted after the jump from the windows. So 6 of the guys dashed out in a hope of getting back the laptop. By the way, the accomplice of this basta*d was with him trying to wake this basta*d up from unconscious.

This conscious drunken basta*d ordered one of my friend to call for ambulance. My friend responded "We dont have phones, you guys stolen our phones!!!!!" My brave friends confronted the drunken basta*d, asking back the belongings and promised not to take any action after that. He was aggravated. He took his bottle high up as a weapon and warned everybody not to get close or else he will injure anyone with the bottle. A few mins passed and a bit*h dashed in from far trying to help the unconscious thief. She was another accomplice of the crime.

DENG!

The confrontation continued. Pj got his laptop back. Ed was worried that his belongings might have stolen by them as well. He dashed back to realise that his purse and hp were gone too. He came back and confronted them again for his belongings. 10-15mins passed, the unconscious basta*d was getting his consciousness back slowly and 3 of them successfully fled away.

Hs actually made a call to the security of strathclyde uni asking for help. CD (our famous french lecturer) was the very first one that actually offered help to the basta*d jumping down from the windows as she thought this basta*d fell down from the windows for some reason.

The security team and the police came not long after. Out of no reason, one of the accomplice came over to the police car and he was caught - claiming that he didnt know/didnt do anything. One handphone + one camera were recovered from his pocket later on.

Then we headed to the laundry room with one security guard, since we suspected that they broke into j2 by using the laundry exit. We were shocked to discovered ed's wallet in the laundry, all his cards were scattered around on the floor. His second wallet, all filled with highlighters plus pens were scattered around in the laundry room too. One piece of singpapore dollars were left behind and it was believe that the thief actually threw away the singapore dollars when he/she thought that it is unvaluable. -_-" Credits cards and malaysia IC were missing though. We also believe that they have been smoking marijuana in the laundry and they even blocked the entrance so that nobody can enter the laundry since a few hours ago before the incident.

Back to JBC, one by one of the guys was asked to give full statement of the incident to the police officers. The laundry room was detained and the scattered stuffs were left untouched until assinged department come over to make investigation. It took a rather long time for everyone who witnessed the incident to give full statement.

It called for an end when the police officers left at late 8pm.

Ed's laptop was saved by a laptop lock.

Pj's wallet, keys, camera and one lousy phone were recoverd.

Ed's phone + credit cards were missing. Pj's phone was missing too.

I believe that many of us actually heard the screaming and even witnessed what happened but we were all stunned.

Tips for such incident :

1) Very first thing to do - REMIND each other to call POLICE (999) and strathclyde security (8888) from room. Break the fire alrm when necessary.

2) Shout for help to alarm everybody, ask for help asap.

3) Armed urself with weapons eg. frying pans + glass bottles (im not kidding!) before going to the thieves

3) Wear sport shoes!

Despite all the disappointments and troubles caused by those 3 basta*d, we enjoyed ourselves with one round of dota last night.

Pray hard that the 2 other basta*d will be arrested asap and JBC shall remain as a peaceful living area for students like us!!!

A preview of what we had that night.. i will update again when i get all the pics later on....

1) we bought 2 packets of CHEAP lamb chops from co-ops, 5.99pounds reduced to 0.99pence per packet. And there goes all of them, into the pot. This is my contribution for the night ---> lamb stew!

We had really alot of food in one night. Back home, there will be like 9-10 dishes for reunion dinner. And i rarely eat those 'reunion' dishes like big prawns, duck, ah ma's self-made fishballs soup, pig trotters, sea cucumber, nam yu pork ribs n more more MORE! n i used to drink alot ALOT of beers during 'sam sat man'! Where as for that night, thks uncle lim n hsheong for getting us some smirnoff plus coke! :)

But today, proudly i present to you the 10 dishes. There were 21 of us from 5units plus kim hoe's bro.

Lets see - lamb stew, vyeaw's kung po chicken, jian's special bap zan chicken, smiin n hsemates' gu lou pork + fried vege + green bean tong shui, wjiun n hsemates' yin yang chicken, darren n hsemates' curry chicken + fruits, adam's seafood soup that contains ABALONES, qris n hsemates' loh hon zhai + hui shi's tong shui, and not to forget ejie's special-can-get-married-in-china-soup!

had bbq@pd with vbs n my dear dear.. v bought sausages, corn, a whole chicken, fishes, squids,sotong n vege balls..

reached pd at 6sumting.. had sum hard n fun time setting up the fire... but then v run out of coal, so headed to the shop nearby to shop for coal, 'shun bin' shop bread incase not enuf food.. lolz... v ended up having burnt sausages n all... n the best part was v had WHOLE COOKED CHICKEN!! it was the best thing to eat the whole nite... thks to effort by jian n smiin! it was yummy with honey!! i din expect the chiken to be cooked in that way - wrapped with layers of aluminium foil and jus threw it into a hole with fire...kabooom!! some long time later, a cooked one came out!!!! ;)

bbq was great.. nex time shud bring the bbq set ther mah, qristine!!!! haha.. ;)

GOT to FORCE myself to get up for eng class though very duper tired ler... today was having a great eng class, as mr Chandran shares with us on offensive language... hmmm isnt that interesting to... errrr... he divided us into gp of 2 person, one being a pharmacise n; the other being one disabled patient, eg. blind, neck/lower body paralysis, mentally retarded... u know there are really some good actors in our class, including mr chandran himself!!!! :O

then hav malaysian study @audi... still the same lar, not listening to her at all... sienzzz... thks fioona for distributing the mandarins... thks samantha for giving woohoo nozes members small gift consisting of sweets.. i think my group is the only group that still keep in touch with OO constantly.. am i not rite???

during tutorial session, hs makes some unforgetfull moment to the all.. haha... "I KNOW, I KNOW!!!"

after tutorial, went the store @sri petaling.. the poor joanne tried to skip last lecture, but failed cos her car's alarm got problem... after changed a new battery for her remote, stil failed to stop her car's alarm..

came back to lecture at 4pm.. dr mario's lecture... many already go missing.. declare an early cny break for themselves?? this mario's lecture was damn damn damn damn boring ler.. mayb i cant concentrate or somewhat... when the time passes 5, evyone seems to changed, all get ready to go back liao.... wishes each happy holiday n happie cny b4 going back to home... it was really tired of having lecture from 8.30 - 5pm!!!!

went for a farewell dinner @canadian pizza for kimberly, darren's twins sis, as she is leaving to south australia on 10feb.. meet up wit some old secondary friends, yeaw nian, shyh chien, yen ting, jia lin, su ann, su lin n' some other batai-ians... two pairs of twins here today, kim n darren, su ann n su lin!!!

the pizza there was jus okay.. large pizza was considered small n v dun get full enough.. so v left at 8+ n headed to william, a mamak stall nearby... bump into another gang of djians.. daniel, stephen, joan, vyking...(they said jonathan asked them out, but he ffk?)

headed back home at 10+ after wishes kim yak lou shun feng n' all the best~!

today is chu xi (CNY eve), hav a reunion dinner at home, consisted of grandpa, grandma, uncle billy n family n' my family.. my cousin, kent came back from sarawak for cny that early morning..

hav a thought of getting myself drunk, but in the end didnt.. :P

19 sepThere is a prob bugging me the whole morning, making me cant study.. d changing of date for road relay..sem3 cant make it on fri cos dey hav runners involved in football n basketball.. sem5 got exam dunwan to run any earlier..pharm dunwan run on sat cos got vb n futsal.. :/

Manage to grab ah sing n andy for a final track training afta long persuading them.. thks4 coming :) unfortunately the rain started to pour at 3.30pm.. y evytime oso like that geh? v waited n watched the rain at the track.. later v hav no choice but to train under the rain.. by now, although lip wai missed the training, if things goes well this sun, im very sure to win the 4x100m!! :)

meet up with e 4x100m gals later at5pm.. FIRST TIME the whole team present.. glad but sry i didnt really guide them liao..m leaving evything to e gal leader, xin yi.. hope u guys enjoy e training, n must win 4x100m gal for me!! :)

Nex, rushed back for ping pong semi final against sem3 at 6pm.. paiseh to hav skipped warming up n practice from 4-6pm with my teammates.. im rather confident on tonite's match n im more worry on track.. playing at the top floor with gud lightings does make a different.. paik ling didnt make it and v got a temporary badminton player( chai rong) to play for us...really lucky that evything turn out rite!

Sem3 was playing strategy match today.. wei loong played men's single, while fabian played men's doubles.. the following were the results :1) men's single - desmond beat wei loong 3-12) women's single - huey bee lost 1-33) men's doubles - choon wei n me lost 0-34) women's doubles - win win n chai rong won 3-15) mixed doubles - kok liang n hung jen won 3-0
the crucial match was on the women's doubles match.. it was a very tight match.. the whole match was so tensed up! desmond n me were so tensed as well.. n not to forget the supporters... u guys do make a different!!! thks thks thks for supporting!

fortunately, v manage to win by 3-2 overall score :) congrats guys.. the road to champion isnt that far afta all.. kip it up n win champion this year k? :-)

n this is from paik ling - from imu cup 2005, the semi finalists were sem3,4,5 n pharm.. sem 4 n pharm made it into the final.. pharm lost to sem4 in the final.. will the resuts b the same this year? v shall make a change in the history n will neva repeat the same old mistakes made last year k!

Hav had a fullfilled day.. took part in da 1st beach vb competition organised by da vb club.. it was held at the family park @ bukit jalil.. my team consists of jian, qirs, wmeng, chan see, khang wern n me, named as vb, as usual ;p lost 2 games, n got to win one game, ended up as 5th position... perhaps berry disappointed... v knoe v could hav done beta!! received a small hamper as consolation prize.. did enjoy da game very much.. thks so much, my lovely team mates.. ; )

congrats to all da 3 teams.. it was proud that the champion team consists of 2 pharm juniors, vincent n TRUE pei ling.. looking fwd for a tough game during da coming IMU cup, finals btwn pharm n sem5.. ;)

IT WAS WAY BACK to 2nd day, 2nd week of sem5, wher v hav our delayed self-cooked annual dinner@vista... it was a late one cos v are waiting for the results from resit, then oly v cud celebrate wit worries-free....

This time v hav qris(main chef), till stratchlyde ;p + tam ming + me ;)

qris cooked fried maggi(wantan mee failed n throw away.. sobs) + hou yao kai + seaweed soup + sour fried fish(jian + yeaw cooked till head n' tail detach from e fish) + tong sui.. while tam ming cooked vege n i did fried rice...

afta dinner, v hav had a supa late belated bd celebration for wm n darren.. made them do prank calls... LOLz... cant resist to laugh when u listen to how they actually flirt on the fon larh.. Hahaha..

Its really a good thing for us to hav ALDI. nonid to suffer from walking and carrying heavy groceries during winter. Its only 2-3 mins walk. :P

After duno-how-many-months of not cooking bak kut teh from my house (i ate with wmeng they all 3wks ago), i cooked chick kut teh for my hsemates today. With the lazyness overwhelming in me, i just threw all the vege in, save all the job of cooking vege. fantastically nice! lolz.

arrived mid valley at about 5pm, rushing dinner @kim garry, then watching movie "The Wig", a korean thriller movie... more on review(see next entry!)next, hang out @mamak, sri petaling till 12midnite... aiyakkkss.. got to rush back liao cos tomolo need to come for eng class!!!!! one good thing is that tomolo will be the last day b4 cny break.. hehe... so nvm lar.. :p

"the 4housemates..."

ONCE UPON A TIME, there were this 4 wEiRd students who came studied in imu, they were grouped in the same batch, but all diff group!!

the first one is a very tall guy... the outstanding one from the batch due to his tallness! very crazy one.. can go very very siao..he is the batch joker, at the same time being the runner up for most ganas! he can talk nonsense, and can be berry serious..he has some nick like tall marshian, papa, abu n so on..? he is a very nice guy afta all, since he play dota well enuf!

the second one is totally opposite from the 1st.. he carries a nick of 'small kid' from the batchmates due to his height... he is very nice to be bullied.. he is the crowd's target to shoot at.. even when he is asleep, there will be some kepoh ppl talking about his bad.. this guy alwiz reply ppl late in sms, we alwiz failed to do chain msging as he often FORGOT to fwd..

now the 3rd one..he is WeiRd too... he seemed quiet in the beginning, but getting noisier days by days.. who influnces him? among the joke that he used to tell, the 'lao shu chi ping guo' one reminds everyone about him.. he got serious cough in the past months..'ehem ehem, blah blah bell' were named afta him... recently he had got his cough cleared, totally.......

and the last one.. he is very noisy.. he is hyper talkative.. he can crap well n go crazy jus as the 1st one.. and he loves to eat and he has an oversize stomach recently...he is named 'si fei zhu'... throughout the semester, he spread his genes to his class-partners bit to bit...

As time goes by, the 4of them get to know each other closer, they hang out together, they played and they crap together, they even sing on the stage as a group! sometimes, the first one gets angry with the second, then the 3rd and the 4th will support, and the 2nd one will get deep into the trouble...but sometimes, the 2nd one gets bor song with the last one, but nobody will even put attention into it... however, they seem to be very happie with each other.....

a closer link of the 4of them had established when they finally decided to be HOUSEMATES of one another....

they have a great time being housemates of each other..

as life goes by, there is a time for the separation of each of them when they had finally graduated... they were placed at different ulu places to work... they had to say 'good bye' to each other...................................
